Finally Free - Freedom To Be YOU
Addiction Treatment and Relapse Prevention Program
By Lana Pritzker, M.Ed, HSE
The purpose of this article is to share some information about new approach to addiction recovery and relapse prevention based on Finally Free, Human Software Engineering program created and pioneered by my mentor, Tom Stone, Great Life technologies, CA. This program is called The Wavemaker™ experience.
The Wavemaker™ Experience is based on specific coaching approach that helps find all the underlying causes at all levels of a person's condition. Chronic illnesses are almost always multi-causal and the cause of each person's condition is unique to the individual, regardless of what symptoms are present.
Each underlying factor has an energy pattern in the body. Once a root cause has been revealed through coaching, its energy pattern in the body is eliminated using the WaveMaker. Once all underlying factors have been eliminated, the body can heal itself and regulate, including elimination of unwanted addictions, intolerances or habits, strengthening organs, systems and tissues, etc. and stimulating the body to balance
Learning about and eliminating the underlying factors causing the condition is highly effective and safe approach that incorporates:
Practical Spiritual Counseling (Non-Denominational Counseling)
Wavemaker re-pattering for dependency recovery
Feeling Wholeness (Assertiveness, self-esteem, self-expression)
Learning about healing through acupuncture, massage, body work, etc (encourages endomorphic production) and meditation, Nia, karate, tai-chi and yoga (for stress reduction)
Abuse and incest emotional resolution
Nutritional food analysis and planning (Balance the ecology of the body)
Vitamin analysis and planning (To help rebuild neurotransmitters)
Eliminating resistance to feel fully (Anger management, fear resolution, etc)
Prosperity course followed by Vocational / Educational Assistance / Carrier Planning (to provide economic self-sufficiency)
Sexual Addiction Emotional resolution followed by Relationship course
Addiction and Recovery:
Addiction of any kind usually has four major components:
Craving- A strong sensation of the need and/or compulsion to consume the substance (a drug of choice, including foods, drinks, legal and illegal drugs, habitual behaviors that produce certain emotions, etc.)
Impaired Control- the lack of ability to control the amount of substance consumed or inner felling produced as a result of the behavior on any given occasion.
Physical Dependence - symptoms of withdrawing from substance and a sense of anxiety when the use of the drug if choice is stopped after a period of prolonged, heavy use.
Tolerance - the need of consuming larger amounts of substance or going deeper into the habitual behaviors in order to feel the effects of intoxication.
The Wavemaker™ experience of removing the patterns of energy and information patterns of addictive behavior is new and distinctive. It blends a sensitive acceptance and respect for one’s unique personal journey into each client’s plan for re-creating new programs within his/her body, mind and spirit.
It begins by identifying all the underlying issues of distress that move a person to chemicals and/or other destructive behaviors. The plan then integrates life changing experiences that can bring about a rebirth of the person’s sense of purpose, value, power and future.
While addictive behaviors wound many aspects of the unique person, The Wavemaker™ experience is purposefully designed to address those dimensions of the person to bring him/her to new life and functioning. It combines the “what”, the “why” and the “how” of the recovery process. It is an invitation and a vehicle to a renewed life.
How it works
Often an addiction is embraced as a way to avoid what seem to be intolerable or overwhelming feelings. This will be a turning point, a point of change for you and your family.. A multi-disciplined, compassionate, and skilled coaching team will be guiding you through the remarkable process. We help you remain open and honest, connected with others and accepting support and assistance while you and your family are developing and solidifying positive changes in your lives.
The Wavemaker™ experience is about you being in charge. We honor your journey, your values, and your dreams. We will help you understand your path and support and encourage you as you continue your journey. Learning your Human Design Chart, the map of your usual conscious and unconscious behaviors, you’d feel validated and encouraged to take responsibility for your recovery—your growth, your progress, your wellbeing. The decision to take any step toward change will always be yours.
Look at the questions below. Most of them are about alcohol or drug use, but you may experience some of the same problems caused by nicotine addictions, emotional addictive behaviors, food related addictions, etc.:
1. Has your drinking/ drug use or over-reactive behaviors caused problems with your primary responsibilities (work reprimands; being fired; school failures, detentions or suspensions; or difficulty caring for your children)?
2. Has your drinking/ drug use or other over-reactive behaviors caused relationship problems (divorce, separation, being kicked out of the house) with those close to you (parents, spouse, and children)?
3. Has your drinking or drug use caused any legal difficulties (domestic violence; public drunkenness; possession; curfew violations, etc)?
4. Has your drinking or drug use caused a change in friends (loss of friendships; new "party" friends; a feeling of loneliness or isolation)?
5. Has your drinking or drug use caused you to suffer sickness (shakiness, vomiting, paranoia, depression, etc)?
6. Has your drinking or drug use caused you to change spiritual or moral values (stopped attending religious services, etc)?
7. Have you ever tried to stop using alcohol/ drugs or over-reactive food related behaviors?
8. Has anyone close to you expressed concern about your over-reactive behaviors or substance abuse?
9. Do you find it difficult to have a good time without using your drug of choice (including emotional – over-reactions)?
10. Do you spend a lot of time thinking about ways to get alcohol/ drugs/ foods/ lovers/ etc.?
Answering yes to any of the above questions may indicate that you or your loved one has a problem with alcohol and/or other drugs and/or addictive behaviors that requires professional intervention.
Individual Process
Each client participates in the preparation of a personalized coaching plan. No two people are the same, each have different histories, experiences and needs. Your coaching plan is developed specifically for you to address your personal Human Design, meets your needs and supports your journey to well-being.
You’d have a choice of in-person and/or telephone consultations that would help you uncover hidden realities with a trusted person sometimes for the first time.
Group Process
Group process and interaction is an integral part of the recovery process. You would have a choice of in-person or telephone group meetings. Some people feel shy about joining the group. We understand this and will provide you with the skills and time to assist you in the group process.
One primary purpose of the group process is to create a support group for you to gain a better understanding and acceptance of the past and create a process that allows you to move forward. As participants share their experiences, you’d be able to identify with patterns of behavior and underlying issues and circumstances you have in common. These are called “triggers”. And you’d be able to notice them and shift to neutral when encountering them again.
One of the most supportive realities you’d encounter in the group is solidarity—one is never alone in the struggle.

Personal Triggers
The use of alcohol, other chemicals, or destructive behaviors is often generated by an inability to manage responses to feelings, events and the behavior of other people. Among these triggers are issues stemming from one’s family of origin, experiences of abuse, or trauma. We give special attention to these Core Dynamics of Common Human Problems and use Wavemaker to clean the patterns of energy and information that keep you stuck.
Psychiatric Evaluation
We recognize that the illness of chemical dependency often co-exists with other illnesses or personality disorders. We highly recommend that each client in need of psychiatric evaluation would contact his/her doctor for referrals. We do not provide medical treatments or advices. Proper management of these conditions is likely to reduce the occurrence of relapse.
The Family Program
Addictive behaviors are often damage relationships between the members of the family. During our work together, we will offer family consultations, tele-classes and seminars that address the primary issues of relationship in your family—boundary issues, clarification of behaviors, understanding and learning how to feel to the core of the feeling, forgive and change speech patterns to create positive affirmations. The purpose of this work is to begin the process of healing these relationships.
Our Relationship program offers intensive re-pattering, education and practice addressing intimacy issues, boundary setting and interpersonal communications. The purpose of this component is to create optimal relationships with other people.
Identifying the feelings and learning the skills to express fully without the fear of being overwhelmed, using positive speech patterns is an important component of the program. Engaging loved ones in healthy dialog is the result of this learning.
Career Review and Planning
Jobs, careers and incomes are often damaged by addictive behaviors. Through Prosperity program and continued Life Coaching we offer an in depth career and job skills review. Life and job skills coaching will help you start working for your future today.
Relapse Prevention
The life naturally contains such cyclical events as birthdays, anniversaries and holidays, all of which usually associated with using alcohol and other substances.
The preparation begins with Wavemaker cleaning the patterns of energy and information that support addictive behaviors. We then will talk and identify events: people places and things, and especially feelings, which promoted the use of chemicals (called 'triggers') and rehearse your new re-wired responses to help you stay away from habitual behaviors leading to addictions.
The Wavemaker™ experience is a spiritual bio-resonance model for the interactive elimination the patterns of energy and information at the base of addiction and habitual behaviors associated with it.
